My Card Account: Using Card Internationally

Where is my Discover card accepted outside of the U.S.?

Discover cards are currently accepted in Canada, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean at merchants displaying the Discover acceptance mark; in mainland China at merchants displaying the Discover or China UnionPay acceptance marks; and in Japan at some merchants displaying the Discover or JCB acceptance mark. You can use your card everywhere Discover cards are accepted. If a decal displaying the Discover, China UnionPay or JCB acceptance mark is not visible, you may still present your card for payment if the merchant accepts cards. Some merchants (primarily hotels) don't always display acceptance decals.
